  Time Study and Method Study
  
  Over 30 years of work-study and work planning including the devising and implementation of systems of analysis and control.
  
  Factory Layout
  
  Experience of all forms of Industrial Engineering to plan and layout factory manufacturing processes and support activities. These layouts were designed to reduce costs and improve efficiency of the operations to ensure the most effective methods were employed. Implementation has been in both highly incentivised and non incentivised environments
  
  Productivity Improvement
  
  Experience of implementing operator orientated improvement techniques such as ‘5s’ and TPM. Involvement in establishing continuous improvement exercises to utilise the intelligence and experience of employees.
  
  Materials Management
  
  Led 3 major MRP/ERP system implementations in a range of companies, each culminating in a successful project hand-over to the users. This also included the involvement in the selection of the software and cost benefit analysis.

  Cost reduction exercises undertaken to make materials procurement more cost effective. This was achieved through negotiation; genuine partnership cost reduction and supply chain evaluation.

  Business Process Reengineering (BPR)
  
  The review and analysis of key business processes and the structuring of the organisation and tasks to make the business more customer focused and responsive.
  
  Supply Chain Management
  
  The reduction of cost and materials from the supply chain especially in taking out significant levels of inventory from the pipeline. This reduced the amount of management, capital costs, potential obsolete and excess materials and the handling and damage costs associated with the total procurement and ownership of materials.
  Significant experience has been gained in working effectively with suppliers to create win/win approaches.
  
  Business Analysis Reporting
  
  Overall analysis and review of processes and projects for Senior Management and Directors. This includes the verification of key objectives being met and the establishment of the real costs and benefits. These reports include proposals for improvement and implementation of controls and checks for management.
  
  Project appraisal including full analysis of costs and benefits. In conjunction with the company staff putting together a full appraisal including projected cash inflows and outflows to facilitate soundly based executive decisions.
  
  Fundamental business analysis from an objective point of view, questioning established practices and processes. Proposing and helping to implement changes by using change management techniques to ensure the implementation of the improvements
  
  Training
  
  Devising and delivering a range of training courses for individual companies. These courses include specialist subjects such as Project management and Stock Control, to broad based management training in areas such as Decision Making and Effective Leadership. Each course is designed for the individual company needs and can be delivered inside or outside the company premises.
  
  Business Mentoring
  
  Small and medium sized business mentoring has been performed to help focus on priorities and establishing key metrics. A wide range of mentoring is performed covering businesses from Sole Traders to Multi nationals.

  Performed 'ISO' accereditation for small companies resulting in certification being achieved first time. Thorough knowledge of accreditation procedures and the Change Management requirements for successful implementation.
